Photo Gallery Sophomore (2014): Led FAU in batting average for the second consecutive year with a .332 average…led Conference USA with a .451 on-base percentage and 35 walks…drove in 29 runs while scoring 36 on 64 hits…hit 11 doubles, two triples and two home runs and stole six bases…started all 53 of FAU's games…had six RBI and two home runs over two games at FIU…had 11 game hitting streak in late February/early March…named All-Conference USA.
Freshman (2013): Had a very successful freshman season making 49 starts and 51 appearances...lead the team with a .347 batting average, ranked number seven in the Sun Belt Conference...had 13 extra base hits and three homeruns...was the Sun Belt Conference Most Outstanding Player with a .579 batting average...named a second team honoree to the 2013 American Baseball Coaches Association South Central Team...had the game-winning, series-deciding, hit against Arkansas State (3/24), had three runs and two RBIs in the series with a .444 batting average and was named the FAU Student Athlete of the Week...had six multiple RBI games including three against Maine (3/13), Lynn (4/2), FIU (5/18) and Louisiana (5/26)...crucial to the 5-4 victory over Arkansas State (5/25) going three for four with three runs and one RBI and the 7-6 win over Lynn (4/2) with three runs, three RBIs and going four for five.
High School: Set Fort Myers High School's school record in batting average...played for Mike Christensen...earned 6A Player of the Year and named to the State All-Star Game...was an Under Armour Preseason All-American...named all-conference, all-area and most valuable player of the year as a junior and senior.
Personal: Son of Jim and Lori Sanger...criminal justice major...hobbies include swimming, fishing and bowling.
