Summer League (2006): Started 22 games for the Haymarket Senators in the Valley League...posted a .282 batting average with seven doubles and finished with a .409 on-base percentage...stole six bases in six attempts. As a Junior (2006): Started 21 games, 19 behind the plate and two in left field...finished with four multiple-RBI games...finished with five RBI in a doubleheader against Gardner-Webb on Apr. 14...he sparked a six-run eighth inning in the second game of the day with a two-run single. As a Sophomore (2005): Hit .302 for the season...in A-Sun play hit an impressive .424 with a .697 slugging percentage and .588 on-base percentage...had seven multiple-hit and three multiple-RBI games...his one home run came against Lipscomb on Apr. 17... with the bases loaded he hit .500...threw out 25% of base stealers. Summer League (2004): Started 28 games for the Bethesda Big Train and helped the team win the Clark Griffith League Championship...hit .283 with eight doubles, a triple, two home runs and 22 RBI...held a six-game hitting streak during which he went 10-for-22 with three doubles, a triple and six RBI. As a Freshman (2004): Had an outstanding start to his collegiate career as he went 2-for-4 with a home run and a season-high three RBI in his first start against Florida A&M...had a season-high three hits against Florida International...picked up A-Sun Player-of-the-Week honors after hitting .714 (5-7) with six RBI in the three-game series against UCF and adding a game-winning three-run double in the final game of the series...those three games contributed to his longest hitting streak of the season at seven games...had six multiple-hit and five multiple-RBI games. High School: Attended Palm Beach Gardens High School with teammate Mike Salivar...All-Conference recipient after hitting .463 with a .523 on-base-percentage, 14 doubles and 25 RBI...the squad won districts in 2002 under Joe Russo. Summer League: Played for the Goldcoast Yellow Jackets and placed third out of 72 teams at the World Wood Bat Tournament in Oct. 2002 while batting .320.
