Junior (2010): Consistent offensive weapon with power to all fields...missed the first seven games of the season after recovering from knee surgery...appeared in 47 games and batted .329 with 10 home runs and 42 RBI...hit a home run in his first at-bat of the season in a victory over Boston College (3/6)...hit a game-tying ninth-inning home run in an extra-inning loss to New Orleans (4/11)... went 3-for-5 with three home runs and seven RBI in the NCAA Regional victory over Oregon State (6/6) and was named to the All-Gainesville Regional team.
Gulf Coast CC (2008-09): Played two seasons at Gulf Coast Community College in Panama City, FL...was named to the all-conference team as a catcher his second season and batted .318 with 11 home runs and 41 RBI.
High School: Played at Mosley HS in Lynn Haven, FL under head coach Doug Lee...all-district selection in [apos]05 and [apos]06.
Personal: Psychology major...son of Ed and Tracy Cassidy.
