BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic sophomore
Marek Pazdera was named the American Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week.
The Brezova, Czech Republic native has worked with
Mark Havlicek for much of the season to build an 9-6 record on the year while simultaneously compiling 9-7 singles record.
Last week, Pazdera led the Owls to a 2-1 record on the week with a 5-0 combined record. Pazdera was 2-0 in doubles play with a 7-5 win versus No. 62 Memphis and a 6-4 win over No. 71 Liberty. In singles action, Pazdera worked on court #2 where he was a 6-3, 6-3 victor over No. 63 Memphis, a 6-1, 6-4 win versus Delaware and a 6-2, 6-4 win versus No. 71 Liberty.
