BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic men's tennis team returned to the courts for another busy week of play, facing the Owls' second ranked opponent in as many matches, this time falling 4-2 to No. 75 Old Dominion on Tuesday afternoon.
The Owls drop to 6-7 on the season while ODU, which holds the all-times series at 7-5, improved to 11-5 in 2026.
THE BEGINNING
The duo of

Marek Pazdera picked up a 6-2 win on the top court while FAU's
Vanja Hodzic /
Lucca Pignaton were 6-4 victors on court #3.
THE MIDDLE
With the doubles point in hand, the Owls doubled the lead with a
Jan Kusy 6-3, 6-2 win on court #5, but saw the lead cut in half with a straight-set loss on court #1. ODU evened the score at 2-2 with a 6-4, 7-6(7-5) court #6 win.
THE FINISH
With four courts still in play, attention turned to the middle courts, all in their third set. ODU took its first lead of the match at 3-2 with three-set win on court #2. Two matches battled on with ODU clinching with a win on court #3.
