GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic women's track & field team concluded its regular season at the 2026 Gainesville Indoor Classic on Friday evening.

The Owls started the day with the 400-meter dash in the morning. FAU competed in a total of eight events (400-meter dash, 1-mile, 800-meter run, 60-meter dash, 600-meter run, 200-meter dash, 4x400-meter relay, and 4000-meter medley relay). This meet marked the third time the Owls traveled to the northern part of the state this season.

QUICK HITS

Jada Bolhuis crossed the line first for the Owls in the 400-meter dash to start the day. Bolhuis finished 13th overall with a time of 58.27.
Two runners (Anabell Reumann and Madison Brown) represented FAU in the mile. Both finishing within the top 5 as Reumann came in third (5:00.56) and Brown finished 5th (5:05.46).
In the 800-meter run, Rosa ten Berg and Adrianna Mier set new program records. ten Berg stayed No. 2 in program history but improved her time to 2:08.86. Mier etched her name in the book for the first time in this event. She is now No. 8 with a 2:13.24.
Freshman Sophie Dethier also ran the 800-meter run for the first time in her collegiate career, finishing seventh overall with a time of 2:17.81.
Senior Camilla Nicholas with another stellar performance as she set another personal best and program record in the 60-meter dash. Nicholas is now fourth in the record book (7.53).
In the 600-meter run, Laura Kuhn finished third overall with a time of 1:41.26 for a season best.
The Owls placed third in the 4x400 relay (Bolhuis, Richelle Williams, Nicholas, Joelle White) with a 3:52.03.
In the DMR, ten Berg, Kuhn, Mier, and Teegan Anderson ran a 11:53.23 to place themselves as No. 4 in program history.

UPCOMING
The Owls will travel to Birmingham, Alabama, to compete in the 2026 American Conference Indoor Championships from Feb. 27 through Feb. 28.
