ten Berg Earns Second Place in 800-meter to Close Out Indoor

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Florida Atlantic women's track & field concludes the indoor season with senior Rosa ten Berg placing second in the 800-meter dash on Saturday afternoon at the Birmingham Crossplex.
The Owls started the day with ten Berg finishing second overall in the 800-meter dash. Teegan Anderson represented Florida Atlantic in the 3000-meter run. To close out the day, Jada Bolhuis, Adriana Lopez, ten Berg, and Adrianna Mier ran in the 4x400-meter relay.
QUICK HITS
- ten Berg earned her first indoor medal as she registered a time of 2:08.43 in the 800-meter dash.
- Anderson finished 15th overall (9:47.49) in the 3000-meter run out of 50 runners.
- The 4x400-meter relay squad recorded a 3:50.07 to close out the meet for FAU.
UPCOMING
The Owls will begin the outdoor season in Coral Gables, Fla. They will travel to Miami to compete in the UM Hurricane Invitational on Saturday, March 21.
