Owls Close Opening Homestand with Visit from Villanova

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic baseball (3-5) begins a three-game weekend series with Villanova on Friday night at 6:35 p.m. Saturday's middle game begins at 4:05 p.m. Sunday's finale is set for a 12:05 p.m. first pitch. All games will be available for streaming on FAUSports.com.
Schedule Update (Friday, 11:40 a.m.): Saturday's first pitch has been moved up to 12 p.m. to avoid potential inclement weather later in the day.

- The Owls held a 7-4 lead after eight innings on Wednesday against No. 17 Miami before succumbing to a seven-run outburst from the Hurricanes to fall by an 11-7 final.
- Kide Adetuyi struck out 10 in five innings in his second career start.
