BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic women's tennis team fell to Princeton 4-1, on Sunday afternoon.

The loss was the first in Paradise since April 8, 2024, and since then, the Owls have posted a 12-1 mark at the Kimberly V. Strauss Tennis Center. FAU moved to 3-5 on the young season, while Princeton improved to 8-1 on the year.

THE BEGINNING
FAU used a new lineup in both singles and doubles play and saw several players excel after being pushed into action.

THE MIDDLE
Princeton captured doubles courts #1 and #3 to clinch the doubles point, sending the two teams into singles action.

THE FINISH
Redshirt freshman Katrin Pavkova captured court #3 in straight sets at 6-2, 6-2, but saw her Owls fall by a 4-1 score before a full comeback could be mounted.
