Florida Atlantic Women’s Tennis Earns ITA All-Academic Team Honors

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic women's tennis team has earned All-Academic Team honors, announced the Intercollegiate Tennis Association honors, announced the ITA on Monday.
The Owls were among 231 teams across the NCAA Division I level to earn the honor, and FAU accomplished similar honors in 2016, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026. To be recognized as an all-academic team, the squad's cumulative GPA must be 3.2 or higher. The Owls logged in at 3.583. It marks the seventh-consecutive season the Owls have been so honored.
Five Owls recorded a 3.5 or higher GPA. Freshmen Lucia Cassidy and Alexia Patru were recognized for the first time. Redshirt freshman Katrin Pavkova joined upperclassmen Malwina Rowinska and Lara Smejkal as Intercollegiate Scholar Athletes. Nationally, 1,501 female athletes were honored.
