BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic women's tennis team will travel to Tampa this weekend where they will end the month of February versus Charlotte and open the busy month of March versus South Florida. Both matches are versus American Conference members but are non-conference contests.
The Owls will first face Charlotte, in a neutral site match, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28 on the campus of USF. FAU holds the all-time series at 7-0, winning the last meeting by a 4-2 score back on March 14, 2025. As a neutral match, live stats and/or a stream is not expected.
FAU will remain in the Bay Area for an 11 a.m., Sunday, March 1 match versus weekend host USF. The Owls won the match a year ago by a 4-0 score, and hold the all-time series record at 9-6, including a 6-2 record when the match is played in Tampa. The USF match will be streamed

THE LEADERS
Every Owl has seen dual match action in 2026.
Panna Bartha,
Lara Smejkal,
Katrin Pavkova, and
Alexia Patru have each tallied a team leading 3-3 record. In doubles play, Bartha leads FAU, which has used several different doubles combinations, with a 6-2 record while Pavkova is 5-3. Smejkal is 5-1 and
Malwina Rowinska is 4-1.
UP NEXT
The Owls will return home for a seven-match homestand beginning Monday, March 9 versus Yale. The Owls will end the regular season at FIU on Sunday, April 11 and will then head to the American Conference Championship at Rice scheduled for April 16-19.
