Friday's match will be broadcast on FAUSports.com, while Sunday's match will air on ESPN+.

A LOOK AT THE OWLS
- The Florida Atlantic Owls enter their first conference home weekend at 8-5 overall and 1-1 in league play. The Owls opened American play last weekend, falling in a five-set battle against North Texas on Friday, 3-2, before closing out the weekend with a reverse sweep over the UTSA Roadrunners, 3-2.
- Maya Van Heyst had a career weekend, surpassing 3,000 career assists, earning her third weekly honor from the conference this season with American Honorable Mention honors.
- As a team, the Owls lead the American and rank 37th in the nation in assists per set (12.64), in addition to ranking second in the conference in hitting percentage (.269), ranking No. 32 in the nation, kills per set (13.52), which ranks 47th in the nation, and in assists (632), ranking 67th in the nation, and rank third in kills (676) and service aces (84), and fourth in service aces per set (1.68).
- The Owls' offense is led by Olivia Hart, Anna Hartman, and Sequoia Layne. Hart paces the Owls with a team-leading 2.58 kills per set, while Hartman and Layne follow just behind averaging 2.38 and 2.27 kills per set, respectively.
- Libby Ashline and Hartman lead the Owls and the American in hitting percentage. Ashline ranks No. 5 in the nation and leads the conference with a league-leading .472 hitting percentage, while Hartman ranks second on the team and in the conference, with a .393 hitting clip so far this season.
- Van Heyst powers the Owls offense, pacing the team and leading the American with 485 assists, averaging a league second-best 9.70 assists per set this season.
- The Owls' back row is led by Isabelle Northam, who boasts a team-best 3.53 digs per set. Luye Marquez-Moreno, Hart, and Van Heyst are also essential back row contributors for the Owls this season, tallying 2.42, 2.22, and 2.14 digs per set, respectively.
- At the net, the Owls block is led by Layne and Ashline. Layne boasts a team-leading 35 blocks, averaging 0.71 blocks per set, and Ashline follows just behind with 25 blocks, averaging 0.64 blocks per set this season.

SCOUTING TEMPLE
- Temple enters Friday's matchup at 10-4 overall and 2-0 in American play. The Owls opened league play with a pair of sweeps over UAB, 3-0, and Charlotte, 3-0.
- The Owls' offense is led by Olivia Hummel, Kennedy Crayton, Christiana Greene, and Khenedi Guest. Hummel paces the team at 2.83 kills per set, while Crayton follows at 2.43 kills per set, and Greene and Guest tie for third, both averaging 2.42 kills per set.
- Temple's assists leaders are Lexi Yoza and Daniella Gonzalez Murati. Yoza boasts a team-leading 7.33 assists per set, while Gonzalez Murati ranks second on the team dishing out 5.07 assists per set.
- Defensively, Claudia Rivera paces the Owls' back row, averaging 3.10 digs per set, while Yoza, Hummel, and Crayton follow behind tallying 2.88, 2.35, and 2.33 digs per set, respectively.
- At the net, Temple's block is paced by Guest and Steel Sinai, recording 0.79 and 0.66 blocks per set, respectively.
SCOUTING RICE
- Rice enters the weekend at 7-7 overall and 1-1 in American play. The Owls opened league play with a split weekend, falling in four sets against East Carolina, 3-1, but bouncing back with a five-set win over UAB, 3-2.
- Offensively, the Owls are led by Sydnee Peterson and Ashlyn Seay, averaging 3.40 and 2.61 kills per set, respectively.
- Rice's assists leader is Kaia Mateo, averaging 8.76 assists per set this season.
- The Owls' back row is paced by Mari Furoyama, Jordan Hummel, Peterson, and Mateo, tallying 2.71, 2.60, 2.21, and 2.04 digs per set, respectively. Rice's block is led by Arissa Smith and Stephanie Gutierrez, recording 1.04 and 0.90 blocks per set this season.
SERIES HISTORY
- FAU leads the all-time series 4-2 over Temple, including a 3-1 mark when playing in Boca Raton. The Owls have won the last three meetings between the two teams, including earning a pair of victories last season with a 3-0 sweep on Oct. 5, 2025, and a four-set win, 3-1, on Oct. 17, 2025.
- Rice leads the series against Florida Atlantic, 9-5, however, FAU leads the series 3-2 when playing in Boca Raton. Rice earned the win in the last meeting between the two squads, taking a three-set battle, 3-0, on Nov. 9, 2025, in Houston, Texas.
