BOCA RATON, Fla. --Â Florida Atlantic's women's soccer team is set to go on the road to face Jacksonville on Thursday, Sept. 4, at 7 p.m. On Sunday, the Owls will return home to host No. 7 Florida State at noon on ESPN+.Â
Thursday's matchup marks the 21st time that the Owls (1-4-1) face the Dolphins (2-2-0). Kickoff for the match is set for 7 p.m. On Sunday, FAU will return to Boca Raton to host No. 7 Florida State (2-0-1) for the second time in program history. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. on ESPN+. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to secure a player card. A limited supply will be available. All home games at the FAU Soccer Stadium are free admission.       Â

ABOUT THE OWLS
- Head Coach Patrick Baker enters his 13th season at the helm of the Owls. Baker is one of the top 40 winningest active Division I women's soccer head coaches.
- Baker will face a familiar foe on Sunday when Florida State travels to Paradise. Baker coached the Seminoles for six seasons, ending with an 80-46-11 record.
- The Owls enter their third season in the American Conference.
- Defender Daniella Diaz, midfielder Morgan McDonald, and forward Michelle Horan were named the Owls' three players to watch by the American.
- FAU has 12 newcomers on the roster in 2025.
- Graduate student Sloane Young leads the team in goals with two goals thus far.
- Transfer Sydney Neira leads the Owls in assists on the season with two.

- Ryan Moon is in his second season at the helm at Jacksonville.
- Last week, the Dolphins faced Troy and fell 2-1 in Troy, Alabama.Â

- Manuela Restrepo was named ASUN Player of the Week (Aug. 18).
- Restrepo leads the Dolphins in goals with four on the season.Â
- Three different players have registered two goals each to add to the total goals for Jacksonville.
ABOUT THE SEMINOLES
- Head Coach Brian Pensky enters his fourth season at the helm for Florida State.Â
- The Seminoles are currently ranked No. 7 in the nation by the NCAA.
