Florida Atlantic Participates in Extra Yard for Teachers

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic football took part in the annual Extra Yard for Teachers initiative on Thursday afternoon, honoring educators that make an impact on their local community.
The Owls visited Lindsey Wuest from AD Henderson and Ann Furey from J. C. Mitchell Elementary, recognizing each for their contributions to their students and schools.
Students gathered as the instructors were presented checks from FAU Vice President and Director of Athletics Brian White and members of the football team that go towards the funding of school supplies.
