BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic football celebrates its 25th season while FAU Athletics hits another milestone with Inside the Owls' Burrow in its 10th season showcasing all things FAU Athletics.
Episode 7 of Inside the Owls' Burrow's 2025 football season, solely produced and hosted by Frank Forte, will air Thursday, Sept. 25 at 10 a.m. where it originates each week throughout the fall on FanDuel Sports Network Florida. It will re-air Saturday, Sept. 27 at 11:30 a.m.
The weekly show's seventh installment of the fall will feature Forte talking one-on-one with first-year Hagerty Family Head Football Coach Zach Kittley about the bye weekend and what the team did to prepare for the upcoming week's American Conference battle versus Memphis, who most recently upset Arkansas. Linebackers Coach Aaron Schwanz is "Wired for Sound," and former Owl defensive back Korel Smith is featured as an FAU nickels coach. Finally, graduate offensive lineman Scarlee Jean provides answers in this week's "Pads Off."
Plus, 25 years of Owl football will look back at the 2007 New Orleans Bowl. Coincidentally, Memphis, this Saturday's opponent, was the team that the Owls defeated in the 2007 bowl game by a 44-27 score. The Tigers got the better end of the 2020 bowl game versus the Owls.
