BOCA RATON, Fla. – Redshirt junior Easton Messer came to Florida Atlantic in January of 2025 with several goals in mind and tasks laid before him by Hagerty Family Head Football Coach Zach Kittley. He wanted to be a primary target. He wanted to mentor Owl receivers based on his knowledge of Kittley's system. He wanted to be a part of returning FAU to its successful day, and finally, he wanted to enjoy "Paradise."
The wide receiver is well on his way with those goals using much of the spring and summer to help ready the receivers. He was voted as one of the team's captains. Messer leads the Owls with 19 receptions, including a nation-leading 15 in the season opener. During his summer off time, he enjoyed the beach, fishing and life outdoors.
