Young Named American Honorable Mention

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic women's soccer graduate student Sloane Young has been named to the American Conference honorable mention list as one of the league's top five players for the week.
On Sunday, the Owls claimed their first win of the season, a 2-1 victory over Lipscomb. Young started it off early for the Owls with her second goal of the season in the first 23 minutes of the match. It was the sixth goal of her career at FAU.

The Owls will travel to Jacksonville, Fla., to take on the Dolphins on Thursday, Sept. 4, at 7 p.m. before returning to Paradise to host Florida State on Sunday, Sept. 12, at noon on ESPN+.
