Sunshine Slam Matchup Announced

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- The Florida Atlantic men's basketball matchups are set for the 2025 Sunshine Slam, which will take place on November 24-25 at Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Fla.

As part of the Beach Bracket, Owls will take on the Lions of Loyola Marymount on Monday, Nov. 24, at 8:30 p.m. EST, airing on CBS Sports Network. The format for the tournament will consist of a pair of semifinal round games in each bracket on the first day, followed by a championship and consolation game in each bracket on November 25. A champion will be crowned for both the beach and ocean brackets. Both FAU games will air on CBS Sports Network.

In addition to the neutral site games at Ocean Center, the Sunshine Slam will feature four on-campus games. FAU will host Pacific on Thursday, November 20 at Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena. Tip time and TV designation will be announced at a later time.           Â
