Owls in the NBA Summer League

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Six former Florida Atlantic men's basketball players are competing in the 2026 NBA Summer League, taking place in Las Vegas from July 9 to 19.
Nick Boyd, Tre Carroll, Johnell Davis, Vladislav Goldin, Alijah Martin, and Baba Miller are all continuing their careers professionally after guiding the Owls to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances and the first Final Four run in program history.
Boyd ('20-24) is with the Golden State Warriors after signing an Exhibition 10 deal following the 2026 NBA Draft. The guard from Garnerville, N.Y. converted the game-winning layup against Memphis in the opening round of the 2023 NCAA Tournament, setting up the run to the Final Four.
Carroll ('21-25) received a Summer League invite with the Washington Wizards following the conclusion of the most recent draft. In the 2024-25 season, Carroll was named the American's Most Improved Player and earned a spot on the all-conference second team after averaging 12.2 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.
Davis ('20-24) is in his second consecutive Summer League with the Orlando Magic. He produced one of the most decorated careers in Florida Atlantic history, leading the team in scoring in both back-to-back NCAA Tournament seasons. In the Round of 32 against FDU in 2023, Davis became the first player to score 25+ points, grab 10+ rebounds, dish out five+ assists and tally five+ steals in an NCAA Tournament game since steals became an official stat in 1986. He then won the American's Player of the Year award for the 2023-24 campaign.
Goldin ('21-24) is entering his second season with the Miami Heat on a two-way contract. With the Owls, he made back-to-back All-Conference teams and tallied the sixth most rebounds in program history. He is FAU's all-time leader in field goal percentage, converting 62.1% of his attempts.
Martin ('20-24) is fresh off signing the first standard NBA contract by a former Florida Atlantic player, re-upping with the Toronto Raptors on a two-year deal. He was the first Owl to be drafted, selected in the second round in 2025, and spent his rookie season on a two-way contract. Martin is the sixth highest scorer in program history and won the 2023 CUSA Tournament MVP on the way to the Final Four.
Miller ('24-25) was drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers with the No. 36 overall pick in the second round of the 2026 draft. He led the team with 7.0 rebounds per game as well as 1.7 blocks to go with 11.3 points. He ended the year on the American's All-Conference second team.
Along with the six former Owls participating as players, Owl alum Gerdarius Troutman ('16-18) is on the sidelines as an Assistant Video Coordinator for the Los Angeles Lakers.
