Owls Meet UAB in Final Conference Weekend

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.  – Florida Atlantic baseball closes out the regular season with a three-game series at UAB beginning Thursday at 6 p.m. ET. Friday's middle game is also set for a 6 p.m. first pitch. Saturday's finale will get underway at 1 p.m. ET. All games will be carried on ESPN+.
OWLS IN REVIEW
The Owls are coming off a 9-8 win over Florida Gulf Coast on Tuesday. Trailing 8-4 entering the bottom of the ninth, they rallied for five runs to stun the Eagles and claim the season series.
The Owls begin the final American Athletic Conference series in fourth place in the league standings. They could rise as high as second place or fall as far as seventh, depending on results from elsewhere in the league.
THE OPPONENT
UAB was swept by Charlotte on the road last weekend. The Blazers have a 7-17 AAC record and need to sweep the Owls to earn a place in the conference tournament.
OPPONENT HISTORY
The Blazers took two of the three games against the Owls in Boca Raton last season. FAU leads the all-time series 19-15.
