Florida Atlantic Travels to Compete in Wake Forest Invite

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Florida Atlantic women's track & field distance runners travel to participate in the Wake Forest Invite on Friday, April 18.
The Owls will race in two events on Friday morning, starting with the 3000-meter steeplechase when Anabell Reumann, Jessica Hatch, and Astrid Baunge kick off the meet for FAU. The second and final event of the afternoon is the 1500-meter run, where freshman Constance Pittet will represent Florida Atlantic to close out the meet for the Owls.

- At the USF Invitational, Promise Cross started by registering a 1.60m in the high jump.
- In the 400-meter dash, Jada Bolhuis (57.41) and Richelle Williams (57.72) represented the Owls and finished within the top 25 on the day.
- Junior Camilla Nicholas ran in the 100-meter dash and recorded an 11.80 for a season-best. Nicholas (24.68) also ran in the 200-meter dash.
- Three runners (Rosa ten Berg, Sofia Molina, and Astrid Baunge) participated in the 800-meter run. ten Berg etched her name in the top three with a 2:08.69 for an outdoor season best.
- Both Molina (2:15.93) and Baunge (2:19.32) completed the 800-meter run for the first time this outdoor season.
- Senior Jordan O'Brien recorded a career-best 1:04.14 in the 400-meter hurdles.
- To close out the day, Grace Muller competed in the 5000-meter run for the first time this season and registered a 19.15.87 time.
