TAMPA, Fla. – The
Florida Atlantic women's track & field team finished the day in the USF Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
The Owls started the afternoon with a
Promise Cross high jump performance. On the day, the Owls competed in seven events.
- Cross started by registering a 1.60m in the high jump.
- In the 400-meter dash, Jada Bolhuis (57.41) and Richelle Williams (57.72) represented the Owls and finished within the top 25 on the day.
- Junior Camilla Nicholas also ran in the 100-meter dash. She recorded an 11.80 for a season best.
- Three runners (Rosa ten Berg, Sofia Molina, and Astrid Baunge) participated in the 800-meter run. ten Berg etched her name in the top three with a 2:08.69 for an outdoor season best.
- Both Molina (2:15.93) and Baunge (2:19.32) completed the 800-meter run for the first time this outdoor season.
- Senior Jordan O'Brien recorded a career-best 1:04.14 in the 400-meter hurdles.
- Freshman Kayla Hopkins (24.70) and Nicholas (24.68) ran in the 200-meter dash.
- To close out the day, Grace Muller competed in the 5000-meter run for the first time this season and registered a 19.15.87 time.
The Owls will travel to North Carolina for the Wake Forest Invite on Friday, April 18.
