BOCA RATON, Fla. – The No. 14 Florida Atlantic beach volleyball team heads to DeLand, Florida, this weekend to compete at the Stetson Beach Blast on Friday and Saturday, March 21-22.
 
Florida Atlantic enters the weekend at 10-6 overall and 2-1 in CUSA play. The Sandy Owls are coming off a 2-2 weekend at the Florida Atlantic Beach Invitational, where they earned a pair of 4-1 wins against UAB and No. 20 Georgia State, but fell against No. 4 USC and No. 3 TCU.

The Owls open play on Friday, March 21, with an 8 a.m. first serve against the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish. Florida Atlantic holds a perfect 7-0 record all-time against PBA. The Sandy Owls will close out day one at 11:30 a.m. against No. 7 Florida State. The Seminoles lead the all-time series 18-0.
 
FAU will kick off day two against host No. 16 Stetson with a 10:30 a.m. first serve.  The Sandy Owls will look to earn their 10th win all-time against the Hatters as they trail the series 9-15. Florida Atlantic will close out the weekend at 2 p.m. in their first meeting against the Erskine Flying Fleet.
 
Following the Stetson Beach Blast, the Sandy Owls will have a bye weekend before heading to Tallahassee, Florida, for the FSU Unconquered Invitational on April 4 and 5.
