BOCA RATON, Fla. – The No. 22 Florida Atlantic softball team takes Joan Joyce Field on Wednesday, Feb. 26 to host UCF. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m.
Currently on a six-game winning streak and off to their best start since 2016, the Owls (15-2) will look to build on their momentum with a matchup against the Knights (12-6-1) before hitting the road for the second consecutive weekend.

The Owls completed the four-team Stetson Invitational with a perfect 5-0 record, making a comeback in four out of the five games.
Game 1 – Florida Atlantic 11, LIU 8
Florida Atlantic's offense came alive with a four-run inning in the bottom of the fourth, adding two in the fifth and three in the sixth. Freshman pitcher
Emma Grace Williams made her first career appearance and earned the win.
Game 2 – Florida Atlantic 8, Stetson 5
The Owls launched three home runs, starting with a grand slam from junior
Chloe Yeatts in the top of the first. Freshman
Destiny Johns also had her first career bomb.
Game 3 – Florida Atlantic 13, LIU 8
In their biggest comeback of the season, the Owls fell behind 7-0, and later 8-2, but came storming back with a historic offensive outing. The team broke its single-game program in home runs with five, led by Johns with two more, for eight in two games. FAU's 15 hits also marked the most in a game since 2021.
Game 4 – Florida Atlantic 4, Marist 3
Junior third baseman
Jesiana Mora went 3-for-3 at the plate and scored two runs off two RBI from Yeatts. The Owls recorded two runs in the top of the fifth to take the lead and senior pitcher
Ainsley Lambert pitched a scoreless seventh to record the save.
Game 5 – Florida Atlantic 5, Stetson 3
Down to their final out in the top of the seventh and trailing 3-1, three straight FAU batters singled their way on base, with one scoring. Yeatts then came up to bat and drilled the game-winning three run homer for the win.
- The Owls are led by Head Coach Jordan Clark in her third season at the helm of the program with a record of 91-38. She is 13-10 when facing opponents from the Big 10, Big 12, SEC, and ACC
- Florida Atlantic is tied for the second most wins in the nation with 15
- Mora received an honorable mention from the American Athletic Conference. She is currently tied for conference lead in doubles (five), second in the conference in hits (22) fourth in runs (16), and seventh in RBI (13)
- Freshman outfielder Bella Foran is seventh in the nation in hits with 26 on the season. She has had a multi-hit outing in 10 games and has recorded at least one in 12 out of her last 13 games. She ranks third nationwide in batting average among those with 50+ at-bats (.510)
- Junior pitcher Autumn Courtney recorded her 500th career strikeout on Saturday, Feb. 22. She leads the AAC in wins (seven) and is 14th nationwide in Ks (53)
- During the five-game tournament at Stetson, Lambert made a key appearance in each outing, recording four saves and one win. She currently leads the nation in saves with five and the conference in ERA (1.52)
- Yeatts leads the conference in RBI with 18
- As a team, FAU is 13th nationwide in hits (147)
- Florida Atlantic moved up to No. 22 in the D1 Softball weekly top 25. They rank No. 25 in Softball America's poll and for the first time this season made the NFCA Coaches Poll at 25

The Owls will head to Tennessee, competing in the Austin Peay Invitational from Friday, Feb. 28 to Sunday, Mar. 2 before a single-game matchup versus Middle Tennessee (4-10) on Monday, Mar. 3.
