BOSTON – The
Florida Atlantic women's track & field team completed the day at the 2025 David Hemery Valentine Invitational with two new program records on Saturday evening.
In their final regular season meet, the Owls finished in Boston before going to Birmingham, Alabama, for the Indoor American Athletic Conference Championships.
- The morning began with the 60 meter dash, as three Owls (Camilla Nicholas, Kayla Hopkins, and Adriana Lopez) made the finals and finished in the top 10. Nicholas finished with a 7.67 to take first place
- Three runners (Richelle Williams, Jada Bolhuis, and Jordan O'Brien) finished with personal bests for Florida Atlantic on the day during the 400 meter dash
- Williams finished with the top 10 with a time of 57.13 in the 400 meter dash
- More personal bests for the Owls arrived during the mile from Jessica Hatch, Elyssa Toal, and Leah Helms
- New marks were made in the record book as Hatch moved to No. 2 in program history with a time of 4:52.82 and Toal to No. 7 all-time in the mile at 4:56.65
- Junior Isabel O'Brien ran in the 3K and recorded a personal best with a time of 10:07.83
Florida Atlantic will go to Birmingham for the second year in a row to compete in the AAC Indoor Championships starting on Friday, Feb. 28 through Saturday, March 1.
