Owls Make D1 Softball, USA Softball Rankings

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic softball team continues to climb national rankings, coming in at No. 18 on D1Softball's Top 25 poll and No. 25 on the ESPN.com/USA Collegiate Softball poll on Tuesday.

Coming in as the only ranked team from the American Athletic Conference in both polls, the Owls rolled through the 2025 campaign-opening Paradise Classic tournament with a 6-0 record, outscoring teams 38-10, and recording wins over SEC Ole Miss, Big 12 Kansas, and ACC Clemson.

Softball Ranked

Florida Atlantic's strong start earned them accolades with the conference as well, seeing junior Autumn Courtney win Pitcher of the Week and junior Chloe Yeatts receiving honorable mention.

The Owls' season rolls on with the Joan Joyce Classic from Feb. 13 – 16, where they will face Minnesota, NC State, Louisville, Villanova, and Dartmouth.
