Opponents and Times Announced for Owls at Clearwater Invite

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Opponents and times have been announced for the Florida Atlantic softball team at the 2026 Shriners Children's Clearwater Invitational, hosted by ESPN Events.
The Owls will play five games in the highly anticipated tournament from February 13-15, first facing Texas Tech, the reigning College World Series runner-up, on Friday, Feb. 13 at 4 p.m., followed by Florida State at 7 p.m. Florida Atlantic will then take the field on Saturday for outings against Tennessee at 12 p.m. and Missouri at 3 p.m. On Sunday, the Owls will close their time in Clearwater, taking on James Madison at 1 p.m.
In total, the 16-team field for the 2026 Shriners Children's Clearwater Invitational features 13 teams that qualified for the 2025 NCAA Tournament, including three teams that advanced to the Women's College World Series. Florida Atlantic is one of those 13, coming off back-to-back NCAA Regional appearances in Gainesville.
Shriners Children's returns as the title sponsor, and Visit St. Pete-Clearwater is back as the tournament's civic sponsor for the seventh season. The programming schedule for the 2026 Shriners Children's Clearwater Invitational will be announced at a later date.
