Jayshon Platt is Featured in Inside the Owls’ Burrow

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Jayshon Platt, a Florida Atlantic redshirt junior wide receiver, is featured in this week's inside the Owls' Burrow. The show originates each week on FanDuel Sports Florida.
Platt returned in 2025 after using much of 2024 to develop on and off the field. Those efforts have paid off for the Sarasota, Florida native with action in each of the team's eight games. He has 31 catches on the year for 471 yards and three scores. Platt has also used his speed to help in the Owls' special team efforts with a team leading 21 returns for an average of 23.7 yards per return.
This season, Platt is listed No. 5 nationally and No. 1 in conference play for combined kick returns. He is No. 11 in all-purpose yards with 125.63 per game and No. 25 for kickoff returns with 23.7.
In his four-year FAU career, Platt has seen action in 32 games, recorded 40 receptions for 542 yards and four touchdowns. In that same span, he has 21 kick returns for 498 yards.
