HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Florida Atlantic's men's and women's cross country teams will travel to Huntsville for the 2025 NCAA Regionals on Friday, Nov.14 to conclude the 2025 fall season.
The Owls are set to compete in the NCAA South Regionals, with the races airing on ESPN+. The women will run the 6K at 9:30 a.m., while the men will take on a 10K run beginning at 10:30 a.m. Florida Atlantic will compete at John Hunt Park.
On the women's side,
Reese Anderson,
Madison Brown,
Sophie Dethier,
Leah Helms,
Morgan Pennington,
Anabell Reumann,
Rosa ten Berg, and
Elyssa Toal will compete in the 6k for the Owls. On the men's side,
Nazayer Franco,
Paul Glick,
Samuel Henery,
Noah Highsmith,
Donovan Petty, and Nathan Webb will run the 10k.
Women (2025 American Championships)
- ten Berg finished with a time of 22:08.1 as the top Owl finisher for the second consecutive meet.
- Toal came in second for the Owls as she placed 53rd overall on the course with a time of 22:17.6.
- Seconds behind was Brown, running a 22:28.4.
- Reumann finished 64th overall with a 22:42.1.
- Helms finished 68th overall (22:52.4).
- Dethier (22:59.0) and Anderson (23:45.7) finished 70th and 81st overall in their first postseason run with the Owls.
Men (2025 American Championships)
- As a team, Florida Atlantic recorded 360 points.
- Glick got it started for the Owls when he was the first to cross the finish line.
- Right behind was the freshman Petty with a time of 26:36.8. He recorded a career-best at the American Championships; last year.
- Back-to-back were Franco and Highsmith in their first appearance in an American Championship
- Webb placed 90th overall in his first postseason appearance.
