BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic Sandy Owls continue fall play this weekend as they head to Tavares, Florida, to compete in the 2025 AVCA East Qualifier on Saturday, Oct. 25, and Sunday, Oct. 26 at Hickory Point.

FAU will have three pairs competing in the top gold division. Denisse Morgenstern and
Shantel Starling are the Owls' top-seeded pair on the weekend, ranking as the No. 15-seed in the bracket.
Reese Edwards and
Kendall Mignerey are the Sandy Owls' second highest seeded pair at No. 17, and Ava Koehl and
Olivia Strandberg round out the gold pairs at No. 19.
In the silver division, the Owls will feature three pairs. The Sandy Owls' top silvers pair is
Riley Baer,
Kate Stoughton, and
Klaire VanDeusen at No. 8.
Mia Scanlon, Kate Weitnauer, and
Shayna Wolf are seeded at No. 16, and
Riley Baer,
Cameron Knifton, and Allison Spittal round out the Sandy Owls' Silver pairs as the No. 20 seed.
Rounding out the tournament field will be FAU's two pairs competing in the bronze division. The Owls' top-seeded bronze pair features
Mia Scanlon,
Maddie Sides, Allison Spittal, Bailey Thompson, and
Shayna Wolf as the division's No. 2 seed. The Sandy Owls' second bronze pairing is seeded at No. 4 and features
Riley Baer,
Sofia Connor, Allison Spittal, and
Kate Stoughton.

Following this weekend's competition, the Sandy Owls will close out their fall home slate as they host Palm Beach Atlantic on Saturday, Nov. 1.
