Sacco Named to Preseason Top 100

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Softball America has announced their 2025 preseason Top 100 players list, with senior pitcher Gabby Sacco of the Florida Atlantic softball team ranked at number 94.

Sacco has been reliable in the circle for the Owls in her three seasons with the team, most recently in 2024 where she ended the year with a 3.38 ERA on the year with a 12-4 record, 55 strikeouts, five complete games and two shutouts.

In 2023, Sacco was the Conference USA Pitcher of the Year, ranking 30th in the nation in ERA (1.61) and 37th in wins (19) while throwing 96 strikeouts and pitching FAU's first no-hitter since 2016.

The defending American Athletic Conference regular season champion Owls will open their 2025 season on Feb. 6 as part of the Paradise Classic.
