BOCA RATON, Fla. – Redshirt junior forward
Tre Carroll of the Florida Atlantic men's basketball team earned his third American Athletic Conference honor of the season, receiving an honorable mention for the week as announced by the league on Monday afternoon.
Carroll recorded his first start of his collegiate career in the victory over East Carolina on Sunday for the team's first conference win of the season. He led the team with 26 points on the week with 10 rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and three steals. With his efforts, the Owls improved to 8-7, 1-1 in AAC. For the first time in his career, he has been in the conference honors three times in a season.

The Owls will face the Charlotte 49ers in a mid-week conference matchup on Wednesday, Jan. 8. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will air on ESPN+.
