Prestige Window Student-Athletes of the Month Named

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic Athletics has named its Prestige Windows & Doors Student-Athletes of the Month for August, with football's Logic Hudgens and women's basketball's Maria Myklebust receiving honors.
The monthly honors are presented to male and female Florida Atlantic student-athletes to recognize their excellence in the classroom. FAU's athletic academic staff votes on the award.
Hudgens came to Florida Atlantic in January of 2024 after playing for both Buffalo and Monroe. Hudgens, from Glen Burnie, Maryland, recently suffered an injury and will not play this season.
The redshirt junior cornerback was nominated by Megan Caudle, an FAU Athletic Academic Advisor. "Logic (Hudgens) took and successfully completed 15 credits in the shortened summer semesters by showing up, working hard, and consistently demonstrating what it means to be a dedicated student-athlete. Logic's positive outlook on everything he accomplishes sets him apart from other students."
Myklebust, a Asker, Norway native, was nominated by Toya Ballard, FAU's Senior Associate AD/Director, Student-Athlete Success Center.
"I recommended Maria Myklebust for this honor because she is a dedicated and hardworking student-athlete. She has also worked to secure an internship with the Athletics Marketing Department. With this opportunity, she will gain valuable work experience and complete a course that will get her closer to graduating in Summer 2025!"
The rising senior saw action in 28 games a year ago for the Owls, averaging 2.8 points per game and 1.4 rebounds per contest.
