BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic women's track & field team will travel to San Antonio for their first Outdoor Championship as members of the American Athletic Conference. This will mark the team's conclusion of the 2024 season.

For the Owls, they will look to close their season on a high note following several successful meets and new entries into the program's record books.

LAST TIME OUT

FAU concluded their regular season with the UNF East Coast Relays from April 26 – 27.

Jessica Lambert finished in third place out of 81 runners in the 800m (2:08.10), followed closely behind by Rosa Ten Berg in seventh (2:09.93)
Anabell Reumann set a new personal best time in the 3000m steeplechase (10:38.18) and finished in third place
Leah Helms tallied a fourth-place finish in the 5000m with a new personal record (17:46.56), now the ninth best time in FAU history

OWLS IN THE AMERICAN RANKINGS

Promise Cross – 9th in 400m hurdles (1:01.22), 15th in 100m hurdles (14.04)
Jessica Hatch – 16th in 3000m steeplechase (11:14.11)
Lambert – 3rd in 800m (2:07.28)
Adrianna Mier – 12th in 800m (2:12.11)
Reumann – 5th in 3000m steeplechase (10:38.18)
Ten Berg – 4th in 800m (2:08.23)
4x400m relay (Cross, Ten Berg, Adriana Lopez, Lambert) – 10th (3:49.59)

OWLS AT THE 2023 OUTDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

The Owls' last outdoor championship marked the end of their time in Conference USA. They made sure to go out with a bang, with Lambert winning the gold medal in the 800m with a time of 2:06.95, one that was good enough to send her to the NCAA East Regional First Round.

Now, Lambert will look to defend her title in a new conference, but with much of the same competition.

Following the meet, the Owls will await the fates of their runners looking to qualify for the NCAA First Round.
