Segundo Goity to Join the Owls in August

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Segundo Goity has committed to Florida Atlantic and is slated to join the Owls' men's tennis team, ranked No. 45 in the final ITA ranking, this August, announced FAU's Director of Tennis Ricardo Gonzalez on Thursday.
The Intendente Alvear, La Pampa, Argentina native will come to the Owls holding a career ATP Singles ranking of 1852 and an ITF Singles Ranking of 2153 and a junior ITF ranking of 108. His best single season ITF ranking stands at No.66 and he is the holder of three ITF Championship Titles. Goity has participated in three Junior Grand Slam events including the Australian, French and U.S. Opens. He is the top player in Argentina, while being selected by the federation to be a part of the National Team two years running. Last October, Goity picked up his first ATP Point.
