JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic women's track & field team wrapped up the final day of the UNF Invitational on Saturday.
With the conclusion of the meet, the Owls can now focus their sights towards the outdoor American Athletic Conference Championships.
- Entering the week ranked No. 44 in the nation in the 800m, FAU once again impressed. In a field of 81 runners, Jessica Lambert placed in third (2:08.10) and Rosa Ten Berg finished in seventh (2:09.93). Also finishing in the top half was Elyssa Toal (23rd, 2:15.90), Adrianna Mier (31st, 2:17.56), and Jordan Stevens (36th, 2:19.22)
- Adriana Lopez recorded a time of 12.41 in the 100m
- The 4x400m relay team (Mier, Lopez, Ten Berg, Lambert) concluded the meet with a time of 3:52.78
Now comes the AAC Championships, set to take place in San Antonio from Friday, May 10 to Sunday, May 12.
