No. 18 Sandy Owls Close Regular Season Friday in DeLand

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The No. 18 Florida Atlantic beach volleyball team (16-15, 2-4 CUSA) travels northwest to DeLand, Florida this weekend as they close out the regular season on Friday, April 19.
Along with the Sandy Owls, Friday's field includes host No. 16 Stetson (18-9) and North Florida (18-11).
The Sandy Owls will start the day against host No. 16 Stetson at 9 a.m. The Hatters enter Friday's tournament at 18-9 overall and went 2-2 this past weekend during Florida Atlantic's Beach Burrow Bash. Florida Atlantic trails in the all-time series against Stetson, 9-14, however the Sandy Owls have won the last two meetings against the Hatters.
Florida Atlantic will then close out the day with its regular season finale against North Florida at 11:30 a.m. The Osprey enter Friday at 18-11 overall and have won two of their last three matches, going 2-1 during the College of Charleston Beach Classic. The Sandy Owls lead the Ospreys 10-7 all-time, winning the last four matchups between the two programs, including a 4-1 win earlier this season on April 6.
