Owls Ranked No. 36 and Doubles Team Move Into Poll

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic men's tennis team are ranked No. 36 in this week's ITA poll while the doubles team of Alberto Colas and Juan Martin Jalif break into the poll at No. 71

The Owls are 11-4 on the season and are led by John Bernard who is 9-1 on the year and has clinched the match for FAU in two of their last three matches, including coming back from 5-3, 40-15, to win the final set of his Oregon match 7-5. Teammates Alberto Colas and Juan Martin Jalif have not only proven to be successful on the courts with dual singles records of 8-3 and 9-1, respectively, they also find themselves ranked No. 71 in the national poll for doubles play, holding an 8-4 record.
