Outdoor Season Continues in Miami

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic's women's track & field team returns to action on Saturday for the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational, hosted by the University of Miami.

The Owls are sending some of their top sprinters as they compete in their second meet of the outdoor season.

Florida Atlantic opened up their outdoor season in Tampa with the two-day USF Alumni Invitational from Mar. 15 - 16

Anabell Reumann broke her own school record in 2000m steeplechase by almost nine seconds with a time of 6:50.88, finishing in third
Jessica Hatch finished in fifth with a time of 7:09.05, a mark only bested by Reumann in program history
Jessica Lambert began her outdoor season in a big way with a time of 2:09.28 in the 800m to finish in 10th place out of 45 runners. Her time is the best in the American Athletic Conference
Anna Rovirosa had the fourth best 1500m time in school history (4:36.23)
