BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's track & field team will begin an eventful outdoor season on Friday at the USF Alumni Invitational.
The Owls will take part in a meet hosted by their new foe in the American Athletic Conference with USF.

Florida Atlantic's last outdoor competition was the 2023 CUSA Outdoor Championships, their final meet before moving into the AAC.
In their final CUSA meet:
- Jessica Lambert captured the gold in the 800m, winning with a time 2:06.95. Lambert qualified for the NCAA Regionals, the first Owl to do so since 2019
- Rosa Ten Berg placed in sixth in the 800m final (2:13.53)
- Anabell Reumann finished in fourth place in the 3000m steeplechase (11:03.31)
The Owls will make a quick trip to Miami take part in the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational on Saturday, Mar. 23.
