TAMPA, Fla. – Florida Atlantic's women's track & field team concluded their opening weekend of the 2024 outdoor season on Saturday at the USF Alumni Invitational.

The second day brought great progress for the Owls, with a school record and new entries into the program's top 10 among the day's highlights.

Quick Hits

Anabell Reumann bested her program record set one year ago by almost nine seconds in the 2000m steeplechase. She finished in third place with a time of 6:50.88
Jessica Hatch placed in fifth in the very same event. Her recorded time of 7:09.05 goes down as second best in Florida Atlantic history
Anna Rovirosa led the way for the Owls in the 1500m with the fourth best time in school history (4:36.23)
Promise Cross' time in the 100m hurdles is the eighth best in program history (14.33)
