Owls Set to Play in Miami on Sunday

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic women's soccer will travel down south to take on the Hurricanes on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 5 p.m.
The Owls (2-6-3) will play the University of Miami (3-5-3) in Coral Gables for the second time this season. The last time these two teams faced each other was Aug. 18, when the match resulted in a 1-1 draw, when sophomore Olivia Bori scored her first goal of her collegiate career. In the last six meetings against Miami, the Owls hold a 2-1-3 record, to which three out of the last six have resulted in a draw versus the Canes. The match will air on ACC Network. This match was a late addition to the season, as the Owls have had two matches canceled due to inclement weather.
The last three matchups versus Miami have resulted in a tie, with the last two being 1-1 draws. The Owls hold a 3-6-1 record in Coral Gables. Sunday's match marks the 22nd between these two programs.
