TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University's men's and women's cross country teams took part in an early Friday morning meet at the FSU XC Invite.Â

The men's team wrapped up their regular season in a crowded 8K run with 342 participants, while the women's team saw their third top finisher in as many races in the 5K.

WomenÂ
- Jordan Stevens impressed as the top finisher for the Owls, finishing in 55th place out of 335 runners (18:52.9)
- Elyssa Toal (18:58.2) and Leah Helms (19:00.4) followed closely behind, placing in 65th and 66th, respectively
- Anabell Reumann crossed with a time of 19:04.1
- Paige Saiz rounded out scoring for the Owls with a time of 19:05.6

The regular season for the men's team has concluded as they will regroup at their first American Athletic Conference championship on Saturday, Oct. 28. The women's team will next compete at the East Carolina XC Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 14.Â
