BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic men's soccer (1-4-3, 0-2 AAC) will continue the quest for an AAC win on Friday night when Memphis (4-2-2, 0-2 AAC) comes to town for a 7 p.m. kickoff.Â

Friday is Alumni Night at the FAU Soccer Stadium. All FAU men's soccer alumni are encouraged to join us in the Founder's Lounge (located inside the Tom Oxley Center) for pregame food and drink starting at 5 p.m. For the general public, free pizza will be provided at the marketing table beginning at 6:45 p.m. (first come, first serve until it's gone). Â
At halftime, there will be a special on-field presentation to honor former FAU head coach Kos Donev as well as all men's soccer alumni in attendance.

- The Owls are looking to get in the win column in the American conference standings for the first time this season.
- Last time out on Sunday, FAU was held off the board in a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Charlotte.
- Noah Kvifte leads the Owls with four goals.
- Victor Claudel and Tom Abrahamsson are tied with nine points apiece.
- The Owls (12) are one goal away from equaling their total from all of 2022.

- Memphis is also 0-2 in the AAC with losses to No. 16 SMU and FIU on their league resume.
- The Tigers share two common opponents so far with the Owls – Memphis defeated Belmont 2-1 and tied Lipscomb 1-1. Â
- No. 11 Lineker Rodrigues dos Santos is the one to watch for the Tigers – the junior has seven goals in eight games this season.

- FAU and Memphis met for just the second time last season when the Tigers won 2-0.
- The previous matchup was a 1-1 draw back in 1993.
- The Owls hit the road for Philadelphia to battle Temple next Wednesday.
- FAU returns home for a matchup with UAB on October 8.
