NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Florida Atlantic men's soccer begins a new season on Thursday night when they meet Lipscomb on the road in Nashville.

About the Owls

Led by seventh year head coach Joey Worthen, the Owls have a different look this season with 13 newcomers
The Owls scored 13 times in 16 games last season -- to hopefully address that, they've added junior Noah Kvifte and freshman Jonathan Lassesen
Returners Victor Claudel, Andreas Raisanen, and Sebastian Zettl will be expected to take another step forward as well
Reinforcements have been added to the midfield and backline but the core remains from what was a strength in 2022
Right back Tom Abrahamsson and center back Graeme Pratt are the anchors defensively
Abrahamsson was the Owls' representative on the AAC's Preseason All-Conference list
Zettl and Leo Keller are the key returners in the midfield
Expect Rotem Fadida to get the first shot between the pipes -- the senior transfer from Hartford will be backed up by a pair of freshmen in Francisco Ranieri and Samuel Andersen
