BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic men's soccer will conduct its annual winter ID camp on January 31 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. This camp offers an intense training environment for individuals seeking to compete at the collegiate level. The sessions focus on speed and agility training, technical development, specialized goalkeeper training, as well as small-sided and full-field games. Each camper will be thoroughly evaluated by the FAU coaching staff.
The Owls are coming off a historic 2025 season that included winning the American regular season and conference tournament titles. Senior forward Mamadou Diarra was named American Conference Offensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive season. Including Diarra, five players earned all-conference recognition. In addition, the Owls' coaching staff, led by ninth-year Head Coach Joey Worthen, was named Staff of the Year.
ID camps have played a significant role in the Owls' recent success. Three players from the 2025 team were identified through ID camps. Former Owls Zach Hassell, who played in 60 games in four seasons, and Blake Dean, who made 74 appearances in five seasons, were also recruited directly from ID camps.
The schedule will also include a college recruiting seminar that will help players better understand the college soccer recruiting process. Coaches from other two-year and four-year colleges will also be in attendance. All participants will receive written feedback within one week following the camp.
