TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – No. 15 Florida Atlantic beach volleyball (13-11) wrapped up play at the Unconquered Invitational on Saturday, falling against No. 5 LSU (20-9), 3-0, and No. 3 Florida State (26-3, 6-1 CCSA), 3-2, in Tallahassee.

LSU captured their first point on court one as Ellie Austin and Christine Jarman fell against the Tigers' Kylie Deberg and Ellie Shank in straight sets, 21-17, 12-21, 10-15. Logan Mignerey and Stephanie Young then fell in a two-set battle on court five, 21-18, 21-18, on court five to give LSU the 2-0 lead. The Tigers closed out the match on court two, as Ashleigh Adams and Julie Honzovicova fell 21-17, 21-15 to lift LSU to a 3-0 win. Courts three and four were left unfinished because the dual was played to decision due to inclement weather in the Tallahassee area.

The Noles responded on court five with Logan Mignerey and Stephanie Young dropping a three-set battle against FSU's Audrey Rothman and Raelyn White, 19-21, 21-18, 12-15. The Noles took the lead at 2-1 after Ellie Austin and Christine Jarman fell in a three-setter on court one against Florida State's Maddie Anderson and Paige Kalkhoff, 21-17, 12-21, 10-15. FAU evened up the match with a huge win on court four as Courtney Moon and Marketa Svozilova earned a three-set comeback against the Noles' Audrey Rothman and Raelyn White, 19-21, 21-17, 17-15. However, Florida State was able to pick up the final point with a court three victory as Ashleigh Adams and Emma Grace Robertson fell in a tight three-set battle, 21-18, 19-21, 10-15.
