Owls look to continue momentum vs. Charlotte Saturday

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic women's basketball (12-9, 5-7 C-USA) continues play in Paradise on Saturday, hosting the Charlotte 49ers (9-11, 5-6 C-USA) for a 2 p.m. tip inside Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena.
The Owls are currently locked with LA Tech tied for eighth place in Conference USA. Through 21 games, the Owls have been paced by Aniya Hubbard, who leads all Conference USA freshman in scoring, averaging a team-best 14.0 points per game. Hubbard also leads the Owls in assists and steals, tallying 2.4 per contest each. Joiya Maddox has averaged 9.2 points per game and Janeta Rozentale has scored 8.9 points per game to round out the Owls top three scorers. Rozentale is the Owls leader on the glass, averaging a team-best 6.3 rebounds per game and 0.8 blocks per contest this season.
