DALLAS – Florida Atlantic men's soccer (3-5-3, 2-3 AAC) will play its final regular season game outside the state of Florida on Saturday night when the Owls visit sixth-ranked SMU (8-1-2, 3-0-1 AAC) in Dallas. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. EST.Â

- With only three matches remaining on the AAC schedule, the Owls are fifth in the conference standings. FAU is tied with Tulsa on points and two ahead of Temple. Both Tulsa and Temple would hold the tiebreaker on the Owls.
- Memphis sits seventh in the standings, three points behind FAU. The Owls defeated the Tigers 1-0 on September 29.
- The top six in the league standings at season's end qualify for the AAC Tournament.
- The Owls are coming off a 2-0 win over UAB at home last Sunday.
- Victor Claudel and Zach Hassell provided the second half goals and Rotem Fadida finished with three saves to earn his third shutout of the season.
- Claudel was named to the AAC's weekly honor roll.
- Noah Kvifte recorded his first assist as an Owl on Hassell's goal. He leads the Owls with five goals and is one behind Claudel with 11 points.

- SMU is 8-1-2 overall and 3-0-1 in the American.
- The Mustangs qualified for last season's National Championship where they fell to Vermont (3-2) in the second round.
- Graduate senior Jelldrik Dallman leads the American in goals (9) and points (20).
- Dallman played for Lipscomb last season where he was named the ASUN Player of the Year.
- Goalkeeper Cole Johnson has allowed just nine goals in 11 games. He's recorded five shutouts along the way.

- Last season's meeting was the first between FAU and SMU since 1998.
- The Owls pulled off the 2-1 upset over then-No. 12 SMU on senior night.
- The Owls return home to face FIU and Florida Gulf Coast before finishing the regular season at USF on November 1.
