BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's and women's cross country teams are continuing to be rewarded for their strong academic semester in the fall of 2022. The team has been named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, as announced by the organization on Thursday. Teams must earn a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher to receive the award.
The men's team was named to the All-Academic Team following a fall semester with a combined GPA of 3.54, 36th out of 216 teams. Their GPA was the second highest among FAU fall sports. 10 athletes earned a semester GPA of 3.0 or higher, with six of theme making the President's list and
Grant Kaminer making the dean's list.
On the women's side, the team earned a 3.44 GPA. Seven athletes posted a GPA of 3.0 or higher, with
Madlen Kappeler mking the President's list. The Owls are one of 249 women's DI programs who were honored with the award.
